Whether you are happy with the presidential election results or not, we must accept the nation’s results. Regardless of your feelings it is one of our civic duties to stay aware of what our government is doing, therefore we must at least be attentive and knowledgeable about how this presidency will affect our businesses, lives, and the community around us. If you affirm the old saying “knowledge is power”, why wouldn’t you do what it takes to make sure you and your business are powerful, right?

There was a clear rise in the stock market when Donald Trump first took office and we have begun to see the same thing again. Possibly due to his business background, Trump is seen as being favorable to businesses and skeptical to regulation. With a main focus on larger businesses; he does however, plan on providing some more opportunities for small businesses as well. Diversity, equality, and inclusion programs as well as government backed opportunities may go down. Also under Donald Trump, the Small Business Association now has a new president, Kelly Loeffler. Kelly is an entrepreneur, executive, philanthropist, and former senator of Georgia.
