Black History is American History! If it happened in this country yesterday there are still residual and lingering effects today. We all may look at Black History differently and for different things, but it is more than a month and still being written today. However you view it take some time this month to learn it. Learn about a people with great strength both the internal tenacity to keep going despite adversity and the external muscles to build nations.
I had the great opportunity to interview three people from three different generations to see how they view black history. There were no guided questions, just “what does black history mean to you?”. We know it takes more than one stroke to make a painting; it definitely takes more than three strokes. I was curious to see how the answers changed with three different generations.
