What started out as a childhood bonding activity between mother and daughter, sister to sister, and friend to friend has blossomed into “Afghans From the Heart” creations by daz. Greetings from Dolores Singleton, creator of “Afghans From the Heart”. I pride myself on creating afghans, scarves, and by request, blankets. I am maintaining my main focus to create warmth through beauty in products made for homeless, long term medical patients, and requests made by family and friends of those people. I am proud to be invited to share my gift and crafts through “A Shared Dream”. Acceptance of this invitation has afforded me the opportunity to share my gift with others who have an appreciation of what seems like a lost art.

Each item is handcrafted by me and is unique unto itself while exhibiting high quality. Pricing ranges from $125.00 to $200.00 based on the size and yarn type. Care and quality are a high criteria for each item I produce; thus the name - “Afghans From the Heart” creations by daz.
